Sword of Mana (GBA - 2003)

Now, we all remember Secret of Mana (if not-shame on you). And after a while we found things out like Secret of Evermore wasn't ACTUALLY a sequel to it, and that there was a Japanese sequel, but the Japanese sequel was called Seiken Densetsu 3, and if Secret of Mana was Seiken Densetsu 2, then where's the first game?

Well, this is that game. Sort of. The Seiken Densetsu (The Legend of the Holy Sword) series started off as a Final Fantasy spin-off. In Japan, it was released as Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden, in the USA, simply as Final Fantasy Adventure. In Europe it was released as Mystic Quest, which doesn't really have anything to do with anything.

So why did I pick Sword of Mana, instead of Final Fantasy Adventure? Cause Sword of Mana is a remake that gives it the Secret of Mana feel and style. Of all the US released Mana games I've played (Legend of Mana for PSX + Children of Mana for NDS) this one is truest to the original style of Secret of Mana. I don't want to give away anything, so just try it out.
