From Wikipedia:
LSD (Also known as LSD: Dream Emulator) is a semi-rare video game released in Japan in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation video game console based on a dream journal that Hiroko Nishikawa, a staff member at Asmik Ace Entertainment, had been keeping for a decade. It is one of three products released about the journal (the others being a music CD, called LSD And Remixes and the journal itself, published as Lovely Sweet Dream in limited quantity). The game has earned itself a small cult following due to the generally disturbing nature of the game and its content.
Basically, there's no objective to the game. You walk around, exploring where you are at the moment. Touching anything (walls, objects, people) will transport you to another dream. There's no winning or losing. The only thing close to any kind of "score" is a graph that shows up at the end of the dream, that marks what kind of dream you had on a grid, marked as Upper / Downer (nightmare, basically), and Static/Dynamic.

The first few dreams will probably be pretty boring. But as time goes on in the game, things get weirder and darker. There's a section of the map called Violence District, I've found dead bodies there, and a row of women who've hung themselves on the same lamp post. I don't want to give too much away. The thing is the game changes every time you play, so things that are there one dream will almost definitely not be there the next.
From the Dream Emulator wikia article:
The Gray Man is most likely the result of a sleep disorder known as Hypnognia, where the mind automatically assumes there is a dangerous entity around. A sense of dread accompanies this sleep disorder causing one to only remember the fear and not the dream. As a result, in game, you lose your Flashback. Relatedly, some have also suggested that this be a reference to the common drug diphenhydramine, commonly found in Benadryl. This drug when used recreationally, has been known to create instances of a "Hat Man", who is similar in appearance to The Grey Man. Diphenhydramine is also known in causing short memory loss of most of the drug's effects. The Hat Man phenomenon is, again, often attributed to Hypnognia.
I really don't want to spoil too much of this game for you, if you decide to play it. I'll just say this: I've seen things in LP videos of the 3rd dream into the game, that I haven't seen in 40+ dreams. Shit is super random, and gets increasingly weird.
Since it's not very hard to find the PSX iso (you'll need to grab a tool for extracting the ISO from the ECM, also on that page), I did something special for you guys. For this ROM, I've uploaded an EBOOT that'll work on PSPs with custom firmware installed. Just drop the folder in your memory stick under ROOT/PSP/GAME. It's a hefty download though, 300mb.
